How To Get More Value With Your Robot Vacuum Deals

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

Now is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its biggest advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to provide you with pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can tell the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills easily leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't vacuum areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.

The design is also better than the other models. It has a sleek, top piece that appears like an toy, not an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System is also self-emptying which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it around the floor. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not do this. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

Although it's not as sophisticated as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Robot Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The J7+ is a solid option for those who require both mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take some time to download updates, and it is sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors, a hybrid is the best option. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home simultaneously.  self vacuum  come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our most loved robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model. While it doesn't have certain features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it a great choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is also excellent, with few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled via only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. With the app you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock, which was designed specifically to make this machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It comes with a huge LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessity for everyone, but it's one that can help you keep the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities.  auto vacuum  and functionality are some of the best on the market however, it's also expensive.

It's a small base station that looks beautiful and is able to be concealed when not in use. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions, and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that do an excellent job of collecting debris from bare floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a clean zone for plush carpets.

While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great all-round robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price tag.

If you're looking to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are other options available. Many eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that have the right combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's simple to set up, just connect one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be placed near an outlet with enough space to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be tucked away under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is less flashy than some of the rival models, with a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The main aspect that sets the G30 above the rest is the way it cleans. It uses an integrated map to make an image of the immovable items that are in its path. It remembers what it has already cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.

The elegant G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and performs better on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin, which doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as often and it's less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
